The Vermilion High School Band began the year’s activities by playing at all the home football games to cheer the boys on to victory. At the Wellington game they counter marched and formed the letters “W” and”V”, at the half. The members wore red and black capes.
When basketball came they were still right there on the job Everybody appreciated their spirit. Of Course, they played at cheer rallies still “pepping” the boys up with a lot of school spirit
There are a few members of our high school band chosen to play with the Erie County band, which practices every Tuesday night in Huron. They played at the Erie County Tournament with their smart white and blue uniforms. This group ended the year by playing at the Erie County Track Meet which is held in Vermilion every year.
